How I've Spent My Time

My soon-to-be-former ISP has been totally uncooperative for the past 6 weeks or so. We've had the Internet at infrequent intervals of, oh, 12 minutes or so.

I have remained busy, though and have some stuff to show off.

These are both fair entries.

The yoke of a little dress made in Bernat Soy (discontinued). The original had long sleeves and a picot edging at cuff neck, and hem.

It was also heavy wool.

This version is light weight and summery.

The full length version.

So, what do you think?

Princess Dress?

Pattern from an old House of White Birches book.

And a doily knit in Gedifra St. Tropez that I got (I think) at Goodwill in that huge haul from a couple of years ago.

This is knit from the center out and then the sawtooth edging is knit on as the bind off (does that make sense?). Pattern is available here.

I am taking my floor mat blocking boards for their trial run wiith this one. So far, so good!

That princess dress is GORGEOUS! If that doesn't win first prize, it'll be a crime, woman.

Beautiful! I think you've got blue ribbon items with these two fair entries.

Just copied and pasted the pattern - but had to come back to tell you that yours looks so much better than the picture on the pattern page.

I won't be getting at it any time soon however.
Have a adult blanket/afghan on the needles. As well as a crib quilt and a dishcloth. And a pair of socks and a knitted prosthetic breast are already in the queue.

Not to mention that it is too hot to knit during the day (being without A/C as I am), although the temperature is still getting down to tolerable at night. (But for how much longer - who knows?)

Thank you for showing that doily pattern to its best advantage.
