Mittz!
Jean C, who is a regular contibutor to the Mittnz Blitz, sent me this photo of her first 10 pairs. Did you get that? First tenpairs.
Jean likes to knit Mittnz and she tends to make lots.
On the other hand, I hate, hate, hate the thumbs.
I could/would make lots more if there didn't have to be thumbs!

All I Can Say Is
Wow!
Bev sent me this photo of her most excellent ten pairs of Mittnz.
Thank you, Bev!
Remember, it isn't too late to join in the fun. Knit 10 pairs. Take a picture. Send the picture to abmcmanusATverizonDOTnet. mail the Mittnz the last week in September to arrive in South Dakota in early October.
You could win a prize! And ten kids will be warmer.

Round and Around ad infinitum
Another finished object for fair entries. Pattern
here.
The yarn is Patons Decor in the Florals colorway, purchased a while back from Smiley's. Since most of their yarns are closeouts, I wouldn't expect there to be more waiting in the wings, but you never know.
To finish it off (and make it lie flat) I added a garter-based lace edging from Jan Eaton's A Creative Guide to Knitted Lace.
The edging is knit on, so except for weaving in some ends, there was no finishing.
Finished size, 40" (about). Blocking needed.

Where Have You Been All My Life?
Today was the last of the endless annual poking and prodding that goes with being a cancer patient.
Bone scan, MRI, mammo.
The tech who did my mammo (Donna, bless you!) was the most gentle, cheerful person ever. And it didn't hurt!
I know this is not always the case. Trust me, I have experience with this.
If ever there was a reason for me to say "no excuses," it's this!
Get those mammos grammed!
