Things I've Learned-4
1. All work and no play is real life.
2. The acorn that doesn't fall far from the tree is a nut--just like his parents!
3. It's harder each year to think of "something I want" because generally, I've already bought it myself.
4. Never rub your eyes after chopping hot peppers. Not even two days later. Trust me on this.

Your post about hot peppers reminded me of my mother canning peppers about 50 years ago. She came out of the bathroom and said, "I didn't realize I handled the toilet paper so much before I used it." She had washed her hands, but still suffered a bit. Let that be a lesson to you, she said. I've never forgotten it.
