A Poem
It's the Second Annual Brigid in Cyberspace (Silent) Poetry Reading and to celebrate, I offer:
The Rose
Take a rose, a nominal rose,
in the mind's hand.
Do not lip it, or smell it,
but as the waves of a new thought rise
throw it, your rose,
and see it glide.
Now attempt
to prevent
its return
on the tide.
